Position Summary:
This person will design, execute, and conduct both in vitro drug metabolism/transporter and in vivo PK studies to support discovery and development projects. They will be responsible for the quantitative evaluation of DMPK properties through state-of-the-art knowledge. This person will participate in early discovery projects and will act as point of contact for DMPK function.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute and critically review DMPK data generated at CRO
  • Be involved in the management of CRO activities and the contractual relationship
  • Recognize anomalous results and solve the underlying problems
  • Must think creatively and be a team player
  • Contribute towards IND filing activities
  • Collaborate closely with other functional areas such as computational chemistry, biology, pharmacology, and toxicology to collect, analyze and interpret data related to key projects
  • Represent the company externally in scientific meetings and congresses
  • Actively contribute to Erasca’s continuous learning environment by staying current on the multidisciplinary field of DMPK
  • Perform all duties in keeping with the Erasca’s core values, policies, and all applicable regulations.
Education / Experience:
Minimum Requirements:

  • BS degree with a minimum of 8 years, MS degree with a minimum of 6 years or Ph. D degree with minimum of 2 years in biology, chemistry, or related science
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics principles
  • Hands on experience with LC-MS/MS bioanalysis, in vitro drug metabolism/transporter studies and/or PK data analysis
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, usually within a small multi-disciplinary project team
  • Excellent organizational skills
